GNC Brain Health Formula: What seems like a multivitamins / nootropics mix might surprise you!

It’s nice to see that GNC – one of the world’s leading supplement companies, has finally followed the trend of the rising number of brain enhancers, and has finally brought to us their own take of the nootropic.

But can this more traditional ‘wheats and grasses’ formulation compete against other well established nootropics supplement like our Editors’ Recommended brain pill Nitrovit, and its Huperzine A / Vinpocetine combination?

Well let’s take a look at what one of the World’s largest retailers of supplements has produced… GNC’s own brain enhancer: Brain Health Formula.

We’ve been testing GNC’s Brain Health Formula extensively for the last few months now, and have finally compiled a review. We are going to give you the pros and cons of this nootropics supplement.

As observed from the formula, Brain Health Formula’s formula is actually quite a long list of ingredients, including a lot of essential nutrients and multivitamins, as well as nootropics brain enhancing ingredients.

Brain Health Dose Potency: 10/20

Sad to say, as you could already notice, Brain Health Formula is actually a little too packed with ingredients. In the result, its potency isn’t that high.

They did a decent job at trying to include scientifically proven ingredients and newer promising ingredients.

But most of the ingredients have been included in very low proportions. Brain Health Formula is not enough potent in our opinion.

GNC Brain Health Short Term Results: 17/20

Surprisingly, GNC Brain Health Formula worked quite well. While it did not amaze us in any sort of way, it did get the job done.

We did feel a slight boost in focus.

But unlike other brain pills that we’ve tried, it was sort of a gradual increase over few days.

Additionally, we did experience a boost in productivity as well, which was very greatly received in the office. At just one capsule a day, it worked quite well – and it did even better at two.

Long Term Results: 18/20

After having taken this GNC brain pill for around 3 months, most of us did feel a large change in our memory capacities.

While it wasn’t groundbreaking at all, it was simply easier to remember things – even things that did not really matter.

Additionally, in a way, it seemed that thinking became clearer, as if it was easier to come to the right conclusion when fussing over a problem.

People were actually motivated to get things done – as if the added clarity added fascination to learning.

GNC Brain Health Side Effects: 14/20

Unfortunately, GNC Brain Health Formula also brought about a side effect that was a little concerning.

While this was not widespread for every one of us who had tried it, some of us were experiencing some flash headaches that would just occur randomly throughout the day, and disappear within half an hour.

While some say it isn’t too bad, this effect was replicated through a number of people, which meant that it was happening often enough to raise a few eyebrows.

GNC Brain Health Price and Value: 19/20

GNC’s Brain Health Formula actually comes at a relatively low price of $42.99. With one order consisting of 60 soft-gel capsules, it is sure to last you a month – or even longer, if you’re not taking it every day.

However, we feel that while it might be effective, there are still better options out there for only a slightly higher price.

Additionally, it might be better to find a more potent brain pill that does not contain a lot of ‘filler’.

The effects will not only be more potent, but you actually get a lot more value for your dollar. After all, multivitamins like Centrum aren’t too expensive.
