Abyss Unparalleled Review: A Great Nootropic Hidden Behind a Sleeping Aid.

Abyss Unparalleled, by Nimbus Nutrition, was quite a difficult case to crack, due to the low amount of official information available on the internet. There was however, sufficient information to go on from the amount of traction it has gathered on bodybuilding.com’s forum. Abyss is different from other products we’ve reviewed because it’s marketed as a sleep supplement. However, it does contain ingredients that most nootropics also contain, which might make quite an interesting mix.

Just looking at the ingredients shown in their supplement facts list can show you a glimpse of the effects that Abyss Unparalleled might allow its users – their ingredients are nootropic in nature. However, they still do suffer from what most other nootropics suffer from – a “Nimbus Unparalleled Complex,” otherwise known as a proprietary blend, which might cause a number of problems.

Overall Dose Potency: 18/20

It is always a problem to find out the absolute potency when there is a proprietary blend present in a nootropic’s formula, however, we can give a good estimated guess. First of all, the fact that they only have 11 ingredients in their formula indicates that the pill is quite potent. Props to them for figuring out that more ingredients mean less potency, which goes against what most nootropic companies employ in their formulas. Their ingredients’ proportions also hint at a high nootropic potency. However, their effectiveness when used with their recommended dosages, and their other ingredients that aid sleep might just cause deviations from our expected results.

Short Term Results: 9/20

When we first started taking Abyss Unparalleled, we started feeling sleepy almost immediately, we felt that it was severely affecting performance in the office, due to a lot of us feeling even sleepier and less productive when on it. Then again, it was recommended to be taken right before bedtime, which we thought might be counterproductive because the effects would have worn out by the time we woke up. However, after a while, some of us started experimenting with the recommended dosages, and taking it more towards the night, which at first didn’t yield many results.

Long Term Results: 17/20

Towards the end of the first month, though, we found that those of us who were taking it at night were becoming much more productive than those who weren’t. It seems that the nootropic effects were stacking for a while, and we just weren’t noticing the effects. However, the effects presented themselves on a much greater scale on those who took Abyss Unparalleled in the evening. It seems that it has been working, but due to its sleeping pill-like effects, most of us weren’t able to feel the nootropic benefits. However, when taken at night, those effects were rendered null, accompanied by vivid dreams and good sleep. In the day, though, we would be able to experience complete nootropic benefits without falling asleep.

Side Effects: 15/20

Fortunately for Abyss, the only side effect we had to report was that it does make you sleepy, especially in high dosages. You have to time your intake of Abyss Unparalleled carefully due to the fact that it might really affect your work or study productivity. However, that being said, when you have a schedule in order, it should be a breeze. Aside from that, there have been no other side effects experienced. The only thing that you’d have to remember with taking Abyss Unparalleled is the fact that you’d have to take it with care, and be careful not to let you affect your productivity.

Price/Value: 14/20

It did take a while for us to get adjusted to Abyss Unparalleled, but when we did, it turned out to be a pretty good product. A bottle costs $44.19, which contains 30 capsules. However, due to the fact that you’d need to take it 2 times a day, it might just incur you a cost of $90 a month. However, they do have frequent promotions especially if you look on the other e-commerce sites that promote their product as well. The $90 price is a bit steep, though, even with their generally good benefits. The value is right, but it just doesn’t warrant that type price.

Conclusion:

Although marketed as a sleeping aid, Abyss Unparalleled also shows great promise as a nootropic, according to our 15 week trial. Their formula is quite potent, yet it isn’t completely observable unless you take the specific recommendations on the back of the bottle. If you want to get the best nootropic benefits possible, you’d have to time your intake of their capsule correctly into your schedule. However, if done right, the benefits are far and many in terms of cognitive performance, including focus, clarity, and learning. Abyss Unparalleled is a force to be reckoned with and should not be easily set aside.
